Timescity.com brought yet another action packed Thursday at Striker, Gurgaon, where Parikrama celebrated 20 years of its presence in the industry. Various bands and artistes came to congratulate Parikrama members on this occasion. Among those spotted at the do were, singer Aditi Singh Sharma (of “Dilli Dilli” fame from “No one Killed Jessica”), Dhaval Mudgal, Indian Ocean and Midival Punditz to name a few.
HIGH VOLTAGE: In an era where bands break up, without even performing their first gig, Parikrama completed two decades.
“It feels great to celebrate this day. I’m so glad that everybody has come here to support us and be a part of today’s celebration,” said band manager and member, Subir Malik. On the
occasion, Lalit Ahlawat, the owner of Striker, said, “In association with timescity.com, we will continue to rock the party scene with such high voltage events.”
Much ado about the cake: A chocolate cake with Parikrama written on it, designed by band member Chintan, was also cut by the band members in their own unique style. After the cake cutting ceremony (or rather cake killing ceremony), the bands did what they are most famous for – a jamming session. Indian Ocean and Parikrama jammed together, much to the delight of the audience.
